Director Comey is out. All SHOULD be happy, few are.

The state of affairs in Washington D.C. still fails to surprise me with how deep the pile of wretch goes. Since August of 2016 when then FBI director Comey essentially admitted Hillary Clinton’s guilt and proceeded to say there wasn’t enough ‘intent’ to seek and indictment. Needless to say the Republicans were all too displeased with his performance in that matter. Then a few months later the director strikes again with his late October surprise announcement he was re-opening the case against Hillary Clinton. This of course enraged the other half of America that actually was not calling for his removal. Well, until he dropped the Hillary bomb in October.

Democrats have insisted since she lost the election that directory Comey and his late election decision was a key reason for her ultimate defeat. They have a point. When we remove California from the election results we find that Donald Trump won the other 49 states by a margin less than one million votes. It was a close election and in the rust belt those states were really tight. Had Comey not made that fateful decision, a reasonable person could argue she might lose a point or so in the final tally and that may have been the difference.

So, needless to say, but I’ll write it down anyway, the Democrats have wanted his head on a pike since. So the President recently fired him. That should be a good thing, right? Nobody liked him and nearly everyone was mad about his conduct. Many of the high-ranking Democrats who were leading the charge to have him resign or be fired are now leading the charge that Trump is firing him for nefarious reasons and he shouldn’t have done it, blah, blah, blah.

Here is an excerpt from left leaning, ABC News regarding key Democrats and Director Comey after the election results.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York

“I do not have confidence in him any longer,” Schumer told Bloombergon Nov. 2.

“To restore my faith, I am going to have to sit down and talk to him and get an explanation for why he did this,” he added.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi of California

“Maybe he’s not in the right job,” she said to CNN on Nov. 2. “I think that we have to just get through this election and just see what the casualties are along the way.”

Pelosi continued that Comey’s letter to Congress about the review of Clinton’s emails was a “mistake.”

Former Sen. Harry Reid of Nevada

In October, Reid suggested Comey’s actions “demonstrated a disturbing double standard for the treatment of sensitive information” and may have violated “the Hatch Act, which bars FBI officials from using their official authority to influence an election,” in a letter to the director.

Reid wrote that he has “been a supporter” of Comey’s and “led the fight” to get him confirmed, as he believed Comey was a “principled public servant.”

“With the deepest regret, I now see that I was wrong,” Reid added.

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt.

Sanders told ABC News just before Trump’s inauguration that it “would not be a bad thing for the American people” if Comey stepped down.

“I think that Comey acted in an outrageous way during the campaign,” said Sanders. “No one can say that this was decisive or this is what elected Trump, but clearly his behavior during the campaign in terms of what he said during the week or two before the election was unacceptable.”

At the time, Sanders decried that there was no investigation into possible collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign, a situation that has changed.

I feel this is more bad behavior and as long as this “us versus them” mentality and the idea of fighting the opposition even when there is agreement, will lead us to national destruction.

The Republicans are playing a weak hand like it’s a full house. The Democrats ought to stop this childish behavior and let the Republicans hang themselves, which they nearly always do. But instead they are bigger idiots than ever before and they continue to bring knuckleheads like Nancy “we will know what’s in the bill when we pass the bill” Pelosi to key positions in the party.

Democrats need to stop electing morons and start sending more rational liberals to office. There are many liberals out there that are not frothing at the mouth crazies. It’s just that the DNC won’t support them unless they have that certain look of ‘wacko’ in their eye 😉

San Franciscans need to fire Nancy P and hire a new liberal. Yes I said liberal. To think a conservative will win in San Francisco is foolish.  Pelosi is an incompetent boob in my opinion and the good people of San Francisco deserve better. The rest of the Democrat party deserves better as well. We need our elected representatives to start working together on core values and ideas in which we are all aligned. Then they can work on things that are a little more divisive as a team and come up with a good American compromise.

Our country continues to march towards a fiscal cliff and all we get out of our 535 overpaid representatives in Congress is teen drama and crocodile tears. My God, what the hell happened to our country?
